The phone is expected to be launched in India soon but there are no official announcements regarding this very topic. The phone is expected to be priced at Rs.12,000 in India.

The features too are great, as I have mentioned. The phone has got 150MB internal memory with 800MHz processor. The operating system is Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) which will be enough to attract the 50% youth. The supports Blutooth v3.0, it has got a primary 3MP camera which can also be used to record VGA format videos at the speed of 24frames per second. No news about the secondary camera. The phone is expected to come with a free 2GB memory card. The expandable memory is to be 32GB. The phone has a super powerful 512MB RAM with 1500mAh battery. LG Optimus Net P698 is also having 3G network support. The phone will come with the optimus UIThe phone will definitely be a hit in Indian phone market but only if LG will launch it within 3 month’s time as phones like Motorola XT532 and Samsung Galaxy Y are already there to replace its position.
