Surfing internet has never been this easy. In today’s competitive market, there are large number of telecom companies providing internet access to the users either through dongles or modems or through Wi-Fi’s this eventually increases the competition and increase in competition eventually reduces the cost of using internet. Something very much similar has happened in case of much buzzed Tata Photon Plus. The photon plus price has been cut down from Rs.1,299 to Rs.1,199 and the best part is that subscribers can even make their dongle free by getting Rs.100 discount in bill for one complete year.

The cut down in price is only because of the huge competition level in the phone market. There are companies like BSNL, Reliance, MTS etc which are giving cut throat competition to the Tata Photon Plus market leaving it with no choice but to reduce the device price. Although there is no news of curtailing the data plan prices of the devices yet Sunil Tandon, head of non-voice services at Tata Teleservices says, "With Tata Docomo Photon Plus available at Rs 1,199, I think customers will now have more power in their hands to make complete use of high speed internet connectivity — anytime, anywhere that too at such an affordable cost."

India is already suffering from inflation and it’s getting really hard for certain families to cope up their budget with the internet cost, so let’s hope to see more competition which will perhaps take the data plan charges down too.
