Sony has released out its latest of all the tablets, Sony Tablet S 3G in the market. The tablet is being buzzed a lot and this makes us think that Sony is trying its hands quite hardly to become the kingpin of the global phone market. Sony has also recently purchased the Sony Ericsson, another step for being the same – kingpin. Sony Tablet S 3G is an amazing tablet with quite a big 9.4inch screen with the pixel density of 161ppi. The dimensions of the tablet are 241.2 x 174.3 x 10.1-20.6 mm, which means it’s quite thick. The Sony Tablet S 3G even weighs quite a lot, 625grams. It even supports 3G network on HSDPA 900 / 2100 bands. Sony Tablet S 3G has got a capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors support and also supports multitouch. The tablet with 16GB + WiFi is priced at Rs.30,000 while the version with WiFi + 16GB + 3G is priced at Rs.34,000 To keep this giant running, Sony has embedded it with a powerful standard Li-Ion battery. Now coming to big features, let’s have a deeper view.

Operating System
Operating system, according to me, is the most crucial part of a machine. It decides almost everything. Sony Tablet S 3G is powered with one of the most used OS for tablets this year and last year – Android v3.2(Honeycomb). Android has been consistently ranked one by great people, while some people still prefer iOS.
Second most crucial part of a machine. Sony Tablet S 3G is having a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor with Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 chipset. To power the graphical unit of the phone, it has even got ULP GeForce GPU, one of the best in its kind.
Memory quality of Sony Tablet S 3G too is really good. Sony Tablet S 3G comes in two variants, one is of 16GB internal memory while the other one of is 32GB internal memory. The memory is even expandable up to 32GB in both the variants. To keep up with the speed, Sony Tablet S 3G is having 1GB RAM.
Camera Quality
Camera quality of Sony Tablet S 3G isn’t the best but it’s good. Sony Tablet S 3G is having a 5MP primary camera with features like touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, autofocus etc. The tablet even allows you to record HD quality videos at the speed of 30fps. The tablet has even got a small yet powerful 0.3MP secondary camera.
Data Connectivity
Data connectivity features of Sony Tablet S 3G are quite similar to other tablets. Sony Tablet S 3G is having Wi-Fi, USB v2.0, Bluetooth v2.1, an infrared port but it doesn’t support GPRS and EDGE, which is quite a big drawback.
